The second edition of Jaipur Dance Conclave brings together performances, conversations, workshops and participation, with artists coming to our city from all across the country.

India’s Stage for Dance, Dialogue & Discovery

India’s dance traditions are among the richest and most diverse in the world. Yet, the dance ecosystem remains spread across forms, regions, generations and communities, with few platforms that bring performance, learning, dialogue and discovery together.

Jaipur Dance Conclave (JDC) was created to bridge this gap.

Now in its second edition, JDC brings together leading artists, emerging voices, diverse dance traditions and curious audiences through performances, conversations, workshops, masterclasses and interactive experiences.

More than a festival, JDC seeks to create a space where dance can be experienced, understood, questioned and celebrated—where traditions meet new ideas, artists meet audiences, and knowledge travels across generations.

Set in Jaipur, a city with a deep cultural heritage and a vibrant contemporary arts landscape, the Conclave aspires to build a lasting ecosystem around dance—one that celebrates excellence, encourages innovation, nurtures audiences and helps carry India’s extraordinary dance traditions into the future.

Dance - The All-Inclusive Art Form

Celebrated dancer and choreographer Padmashri Leela Samson opens the conclave with her talk ‘Dance- the All Inclusive Art Form’. She will be in conversation with the renowned literary consultant, founder and CEO of Siyahi, Mita Kapur. Two award-winning legends in their fields come together to share insights from their rich experience.

The Inaugural Jaipur Dance Conclave Took Place on 22–23 November 2025 at Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur.

Where Dance Met The Headlines

Jaipur Dance Conclave 2025 wasn’t just a festival — it was a defining moment in Rajasthan’s cultural history. For the very first time, India’s most celebrated classical and folk dance traditions converged on a single stage at the Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur. The performances were breathtaking. The workshops were transformative. The conversations were historic.
But the impact didn’t stay within the walls of RIC. It spilled onto the front pages, the culture sections, and the city editions of Rajasthan’s most trusted newspapers.
